EHS Homecoming
Greetings Hornets! The purpose of this letter is to outline the expectations for student, parent, and spectator behavior at homefootballgames at Kuhlman Stadium. To ensure a safe and positive environment atfootballgames, we are reinforcing the following safety and security protocols:
- EHS students must show their current EHS student ID or their Infinite Campus profile to enter the stadium. EHS students must enter the Student Gate near the ECC.
- Students from other high schools that are not competing in thefootballgame will not be admitted, unless accompanied by their parent(s).
- Students from the visiting team must show their student ID and sit in the visitors' section.
- No outside food, water bottles, backpacks, or athletic balls of any kind allowed.
- There is no readmittance after leaving the stadium and no one will be allowed to enter the stadium after halftime.
- Patrons may wait in line for the bathroom or concessions, but otherwise are expected to be in the bleachers watching the game. Those who are loitering will be asked to leave without a refund.
- Elementary and middle school students need to enter the stadium with their parents (or legal guardians).
- Elementary and middle school students will sit near their parents (or legal guardians) in the bleachers andmust be supervisedby their parents (or legal guardians) at all times while at Kuhlman Stadium. Supervising hundreds of elementary and middle school students diverts valuable human resources that should be focused on stadium safety and security.
- You can purchase ticketshere.
We ask that you talk with your children about these protocols and the importance of appropriate behavior in advance of attendingfootballgames or other EPS events. EPS events are an extension of the school and misconduct will result in school consequences.
We know that by working together we can maintain a positive, family-friendly environment at Kuhlman Stadium where our community can join in supporting our students and schools.
If you have questions regarding these protocols, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Yours in,
Hornet Pride!
